Autonomous power supply system (APSS) on the basis of diesel-electric generators DG-20, DG-60, DG-100

The APSS (Photo 1) is intended to be used as the main electric energy source in the areas where regional power lines are not available and as a reserve power source when operating together with the unit of emergency switchover to the other diesel-electric generator.

The APSS consists of two DG diesel-electric generators having a capacity of
60 kVA each (Photo 2) and through the control panel (Photo 3) ensures the supply of 220 V, 50 Hz alternating three-phase voltage in the following modes:

a) from two diesel-electric generators working parallel to each other (short-time, for the period of transition from one DG to the other);

b) from one of the diesel-electric generators (at the user’s option);

c) from a mobile transformer station (MTS);

d) from one of the DGs (DG1 or DG2 at the user’s option) that works parallel to a three-phase industrial network – for the period of transition.

The APSS is controlled in the automatic or manual mode directly from the control panel of the power plant.

Specifications:

Power, when operated from one DG-20/DG-60/DG-100  20/60/100 kVA
Power, when two diesel-electric generators DG work parallel to each other no less than 40/120/200 kVA
Voltage alternating three-phase, 220 V, with a frequency of 50 Hz
Neutral mode isolated
Specific fuel consumption, litre/hour - 14,4 (at 100 % load),
- 7,1 (at 50 % load).

The Autonomous power supply system allows supplying power from industrial power supply networks.
