Firing of the S-125-2TM Pechora-2TM ADMS

On April 27, 2017 in the course of international exercises being held in the Customer’s territory the Tetraedr UE successfully completed transfer and acceptance trials of the S-125-2TM medium range Air Defence Missile System with combat firing being part of the contract.
The Tetraedr UE performed overhaul and refurbishment, upgrade of the S-125M ADMS and a set of works on life extension of 5V27 SAMs on manufacturing and technological facilities located in the Customers territory.
The S-125-2TM “Pechora-2TM” medium range ADMS is a highly efficient mobile system intended for countering modern and advanced air attack assets in a heavy jamming environment.
For instance, the far boundary of the kill zone is more than 36 km and the top boundary of the destroyed targets is 25 km. The combat and technical assets of the S-125-2TM Pechora-2TM ADMS are mounted on modern transportation means which allowed reducing the emplacement-displacement time of the ADMS up to 15-20 minutes and increased the mobility of the ADMS.
Upon completion of the transfer and acceptance trials with live firing another S-125-2TM Pechora-2TM ADMS was transferred to the Customers Ministry of Defence for going on combat duty.
